RHONJ stars indicted on fraud charges

"Real Housewives of New Jersey" stars Teresa and Joe Guidice are in hot water with the feds. New Jersey's "Star-Ledger" reports the couple has been slapped with a 39-count indictment that includes accusations of conspiring to defraud lenders and illegally obtain mortgages.

The stars of the popular Bravo reality series are also accused of hiding assets and income during a bankruptcy case and failure to file taxes over a four year period, among other charges.

New Jersey's U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman says the Giudices face years of prison time and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines if convicted on the charges.  Joe Giudice is also facing up to ten years in prison for allegedly fraudulently obtaining a New Jersey driver's license.
